We're in the car on the way back from Griffis Sculpture Park located about an hour away from Buffalo. Justin, a Couchsurfer we met last week suggested it. It's a beautiful wooded area filled with sculptures designed for climbing onto and inside.
When he said we'd get a great hike there, I responded that we don't really hike with Lila. He gave me a funny look.
Well, we don't do the kind of hikes we did pre-Lila. If you expect to cover much distance or scale steep walls, you will be sorely disappointed.
But if you like rolling down grassy hills, stick fights, doing summersaults and hand stands and peeing in the woods, then, we are your kind of people.
It was the kind of day that even after a few hours of walking and jumping around, you have more energy when you leave than when you arrived.
